Venus Rising
Inspired by the rising of Venus in the morning sky, four images of the divine feminine evoke the birth of Aphrodite. She is born from the sea foam and in the heart of a red rose. One of the spring maidens from Botticelli’s Venus, crowned with Saturn, walks across the Pleiades to cloak her as the goddess rises on a Greek plaque in front of the rosy glow of the Trifid nebula. A series of solar flare disks rise with her.
