My star journeys have been a cornerstone of my personal and professional path in life since Astrology became my second language. Since 1967 I have been learning to translate this ancient Language of the Stars through an intuitive and unique blend of psychology, astronomy and myth. Special areas of interest are mythic and experiential astrology, astrology of the imagination, Chiron, the Black Moon, astronomy and fthe cosmic feminine.
I feel part of an ever-growing international family of healers, thinkers and creators on the leading edge of mind-heart thinking. I am a presentor for major astrology conferences and various psychology and holistic groups in the U.S. and abroad. A special time of my year is when I serve as astrologer-in-residence for the Omega Institute programs in the Caribbean. I am on the founding faculty of Self Centre International, the new holistic program at Caneel Bay Resort. As a creator of mythic theater, I worked with Dragon Dance Theater in Vermont for many years and have performed at Bread and Puppet Circus and at the United Nations.
My articles have appeared in The International Astrologer, The Mountain Astrologer, Welcome to Planet Earth, Dream Network Journal, The Wholistic Astrologer, on Stariq.com and other journals and web sites in the U.S., Australia and Britain. I have been active in the field of higher education, serving as adjunct professor for adult students at Vermont College, as well as other schools in the Northeast. I now mentor astrology students by phone and email (see Astrological Services). My formal educational background includes a B.A. in Drama from Middlebury College, an M.A. in Depth Psychology and Creative Communication from Vermont College of Norwich University, and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Philosophy, Cosmology and Myth.
A certified mermaid (diver), I live in St. John, Virgin Islands, where the tropical stars are bright and thick. At night, I tell Stories in the Stars to star-struck visitors in the paradise isles; by day I am at the sea, writing, painting or giving consultations. I'm a Sagittarian with Moon in Cancer and Leo rising.

HeliaStar Productions
was founded in 1986 as Helia Productions to present and co-create multimedia and experiential teaching and dramatic presentations in cross-cultural mythology, archetypal psychology, astrology, creativity, personal and planetary transformation. As Director of Helia Productions, Kelley was the co-founder, with Archaeo-Astronomer Sig Lonegren and Astrologer Barbara Schermer, of the ROOTS of Astrology experiential conferences that ran for 6 years in Vermont. This forum explored astrology through astro-drama, mandala art and other mediums. Helia Productions collaborated with Dragon Dance Theater from 1990-1996 to create mythic seasonal dramas.
